Location: 1221 Race St. Philadelphia, PA
Morning Runs: 5:30 AM (M, W, F)

TEAM LEADER: Deirdre Darragh

Deirdre grew up in Northford, CT and moved to Philadelphia in 2009 to attend graduate school at Villanova University. Having always been a runner, Deirdre used a group project for a Communications Campaigns class to further explore Back on My Feet’s mission.
She and her team worked to create a promotion plan for BoMF’s 20in24 race and as part of her research she joined Brotherhood Mission and committed to be a fundracer for the Philadelphia Half Marathon. Since the first run in Fishtown, Deirdre knew this was a group she wanted to be a part of far past the completion of the project.
Now a member of the St. John’s team Deirdre is continually inspired by the members of her team. Deirdre says, “Running with Back on My Feet has allowed me to share my passion for running with so many amazing people, I feel lucky to be part of such a great team and can’t wait to see what everyone accomplishes this Fall.”
FEATURED CHAPTER MEMBER OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST 2011: TROY S.
Troy is the standard by which all other gentlemen are measured. Troy occasionally stops by the office to keep us updated on how things are going with him. Every time he leaves he expresses thankfulness for everyone’s time. Troy will always get the last thank you even if he says it as the elevator doors close as he leaves our office.
Troy has accomplished great things in his personal, professional, and running life. To read more about his amazing journey so far, check out this blog post.
