TITLE: Program Coordinator – Philadelphia chapter
REPORTS TO: Philadelphia chapter Program Director Owen Camuso
SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will outgoing, organized and have a passion for building and maintaining interpersonal relationships. The Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for conducting outreach and coordinating new membership of BOMF for residents and non-residents as well as retaining membership. Additionally, the Program Coordinator manages equipment inventory and assists in program event management and participation.
This individual will have the ability to interact with staff in semi- fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism. The ability to be organized and pro-actively communicate about tasks and responsibilities is very important.
Tasks related to the role include, but are not limited to:
• Inventory Management:
• Weekly coordination of incentives earned by members
• Actively working to meet our recruitment goals each month.
o Goals set for both residential and non-residential membership growth
o Conducting orientations and appropriate outreach/follow-up
o Follow-up to make sure new members have begun running and are remaining active
o Actively seeking to plan volunteer appreciation and outreach events in the community to engage new volunteers – using creative and new approaches
• Race/Social Event communication/coordination:
o Actively reaching out to prospective races
o Communicating discounts and establishing relationships
o Transportation coordination
o Updates to social media and the Back on My Feet Blog and website
