Carol Auer, managing director of risk assurance for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, is a 19-year veteran who helped lead her company’s fundraising efforts for Back on My Feet Philadelphia at the 2011 Broad Street Run, resulting in more than $8,200 in donations and a team of 27 including partners and staff. She has also worked with NPower, which provides technology services to not-for-profit organizations and technology training for at-risk youth, to sponsor events and provide technical training and internship opportunities.
James B. (J. B.) Broms
Mr. Broms is a partner in Accenture’s Philadelphia office. He is responsible for Accenture’s North American Wholesale Energy Markets practice, in which he has focused on the development of competitive electricity markets in the United States. He also works extensively within Accenture’s Smart Grid Services practice, supporting utility companies in the development of industry leading solutions. In these roles, he has worked with a number of utilities and energy companies within the United States and internationally during his career, and has extensive experience in strategic planning, process and system development, and project and program management. He is a frequent contributor and presenter at energy industry conferences.He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics. Mr. Broms is actively involved in the Philadelphia community, also serving on the Board of Directors for the Fairmount Park Conservancy. Mr. Broms has become an avid recreational runner within the last 10 years, and believes strongly in how running simply makes life better. He is a frequent traveller, and runs with BoMF chapters in other cities whenever possible.

Abby is a Human Resources Business Partner supporting the global functions (ie, Marketing, Technology) for the Intellectual Property and Science division of Thomson Reuters. In her role, she supports over 700 employees who are spread almost evenly across North America, Europe and Asia Abby also serves on the Governing Board for Women@ Thomson Reuters whose mission is to develop talents and champion the contributions of female employees, thus promoting women as equal parties in successes, achievement, and profitability of Thomson Reuters. Abby has served as a Back on My Feet Philadelphia Non-Residential Member of the St. John's Hospice Team for over four years, serving a term as Team Leader and also working on event committees; she has received an Eagles Community Quarterback award for her leadership at Back on My Feet. Abby is an avid runner, completing over 15 half marathons in 14 different states!
Douglas J. Green
Principal, MSC Retail
Douglas J. Green joined MSC Retail in 2004 as an associate and was made a principal of the firm in January of 2011. Since his arrival at the company, Douglas’ work has included tenant and landlord representation, investment sales, hospitality consulting and development advisory services throughout the east coast. Douglas is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), serving as a planning committee member for the annual PA/NJ/DE Idea Exchange and a past co-chair of ICSC’s PA/NJ/DE Next Generation Committee.
Mr. Green graduated from Hobart College in Geneva, New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and currently resides in Haverford, Pennsylvania with his wife Avery and his children Grayson and Brooks.

Partner, Morgan Lewis
John Hemmer is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group of Morgan Lewis. John focuses on assisting companies and inventors in securing and leveraging patent protection for their inventions. He prepares and prosecutes patent applications across a broad range of technologies including medical devices, cleantech technologies, electro/mechanical devices, military equipment, consumer products and packaging, and computer implemented business methods. John's practice also focuses on the preparation and negotiation of technology agreements, venture capital financing, merger and acquisition agreements, and intellectual property due diligence. He received his J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University's Schreyer Honors College. Sheila M. Hess, is Philadelphia's City Representative. Hess joined the city after a 24-year successful career at Independence Blue Cross, and most recently was Director of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation & Community Affairs, responsible for the company’s charitable $65 million private foundation. Designed as a national model, the highly regarded charitable private foundation creates sustainable solutions to improve the health and wellness of our neighborhoods. She is proud of the legacy she left at IBC, with the creation of the Blue Crew Corporate Volunteer Program, now celebrating 15 years of giving back and making an impact on the community. She is one of the original members on the Advisory Board of Back on My Feet Philadelphia, founded in 2007 in Philadelphia and an active board member of an array of organizations including: LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, Police Athletic League (PAL) of Philadelphia, Visit Philly, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, Historic Philadelphia, PHLCVB Executive Committee, DNC Host Committee, the Marian Anderson Award, and Fred’s Footsteps.
Jordan Hyatt, JD PhD
Assistant Professor, Department of Criminology & Justice Studies, Drexel University
Dr. Hyatt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology & Justice at Drexel University. Dr. Hyatt's research focuses on corrections and reentry, with a focus on the evaluation of community-based interventions. Dr. Hyatt holds a PhD in criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Villanova University School of Law, where he was a Public Interest Scholar.

Bridget Kulik is a senior associate at Sage Communications Partners, LLP. Prior to joining Sage in 2010, Bridget was a senior project manager at The Echo Group, managing the communications activities of various political, corporate, and nonprofit clients. Her work in politics includes acting as social media director for CampaignGrid, LLC, and working as a media assistant at Shorr Johnson Magnus. Matthew J. Maguire

Matthew J. Maguire is of counsel in the Labor and Employment Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Berwyn office. Mr. Maguire represents management in a variety of labor and employment matters. He counsels employers on labor and employment aspects of corporate transactions, and on avoiding and addressing union organizing campaigns. He defends employers before state and federal administrative agencies and courts in claims involving age, race, gender, disability and national origin discrimination and claims of unlawful workplace harassment. In addition, he also defends claims involving the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Equal Pay Act, wage payment disputes, unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board, and claims involving the enforceability of restrictive covenant agreements.

Joe Mangini is a Vice President in the Private Wealth Management Group of Goldman Sachs where he advises endowments, foundations and family offices. Joe joined Goldman Sachs in 2002. Denise is an Audit Managing Director in the Asset Management practice of KPMG’s Philadelphia office, primarily serving registered investment advisors the various types of fund products that they sponsor. Denise has served as both a national and regional instructor, as well as developer of national and local investment management training courses. She serves as a People Management Leader to guide and mentor Senior Associates through their careers. She is a member of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW) and the Working Mom’s Group. She is actively involved in recruiting accounting graduates from University of Delaware, her alma mater. In addition to her public accounting experience, Denise has also working in the investment management industry as a Director of Financial Reporting.

Jim Marino currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Program Coordinator for the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Department and in that capacity he serves as Race Director of the Internationally recognized Blue Cross Broad Street Run 10-Miler, Marino after serving as Assistant Race Director in 1996 and 1997 became the Race Director of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run in 1998 and has worked in some capacity on the race staff since 1984. In 2006 he was named Assistant Parade Director for the Philadelphia Mummers Parade and as the Emergency Preparedness coordinator for the Recreation Department.

Megan L. Panaccio is Director of Corporate Relations for the Fox School of Business Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD), where she manages on-campus recruiting operations, employer services, recruiting-management software, and ongoing analysis of recruiting services and employer satisfaction.
She joined the Fox School of Business in 2004 after serving as a Human Resource Specialist for Towers Perrin.

Sales Operations for the AT&T Liberty States Market
Bob is the Director of Sales Operations for the AT&T Liberty States Market. Bob joined AT&T in October of 1999 as a District Manager. He also served as the Director of Retail for the Northeast Region. With the advent of the AT&T / Cingular merger Bob returned to the Philadelphia Market and has held positions in both Operations and Sales. Bob currently is responsible for the company owned retail store locations in the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware. Prior to AT&T Bob spent eighteen years with Silo, a Philadelphia based consumer electronics chain. Bob held various positions over those years including District Merchandise Manager, District Sales Manager and Director of Sales Operations. Bob is a Philadelphia native born and raised in the Fern Rock section of North Philly. Since AT&T’s partnership with Back on My Feet, Bob has participated in several events including the Halfway to Broad Street runs and annual Philadelphia Bash.
