Cathryn began at Back on My Feet as an intern for special events and communications. In her current role, she manages sponsor fulfillment, vendor relationships, and fundraising efforts. She believes that strong relationships and communication are key to building the self-sufficiency and stability of BoMF.

Cathryn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Leadership.
Ramon Laboy III
Ramon earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Iona College, and a Master degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University.
Ramon joined Back on My Feet in 2013 after providing five years of social work supportive services for at risk children and their families in the Lehigh Valley (PA).
Initially joining the BoMF team in June of 2013, Ramon has spent the past three years working as the Member Services Manager providing service to Philadelphia’s residential members. In addition to building relationships, Ramon was also responsible for goal planning and tracking progress throughout a member’s tenure with BoMF.
“I have been devout runner for the past 20 years. During this time my reason for why I’ve continued to run has changed. Although I will always enjoy pushing my own limits, I’m now inspired by being a part of other’s pushing their own.”
Member Services Coordinator
Gina joined Back on My Feet in 2016 after two years as Case Manager at Our Brothers’ Place emergency shelter for men.
Gina is a strong proponent of exercise as means of improving mental health and wellbeing, and believes in the powers of team dynamic to support its individuals through great challenge. She is excited to perpetuate positivity in her role and foster growth of the BoMF family. “The collective wisdom of a community is rooted in diversity of experience; we are stronger and healthier when we commit to honoring all community members as individuals and support one another’s growth and achievement.”
Gina graduated in 2013 from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors’ in Neuroscience.
Development & Marketing Manager
Rebecca joined Back on My Feet in 2015 as the Development & Marketing Manager. Prior to being with Back on My Feet she participated in and administrated volunteer service non-profits in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Durban, South Africa. The community and self-growth that occurs through physical movement, especially running and yoga, has been a huge part of her personal and professional experiences and she is thrilled to be continuing in her commitment to this with Back on My Feet.
“The community we create when we run together is one of support, mutuality, and excitement. There are few other places where we can build such unique, diverse relationships together than when we are hitting the pavement together at 5:30am.”
Rebecca has a B.A. in English from the University of Delaware and an M.A. in Social Justice and Community Development from Loyola University of Chicago.
Liz first joined Back on My Feet as an intern with the National team. Eager to get the full non-profit experience she took on various tasks including data evaluation, grant foundation research and communications. In May 2016, Liz joined Philadelphia's staff as the Program Coordinator (and social media guru). She is an avid runner whose passion lies in helping others better their lives through health and fitness. "Back on My Feet is a feeling. A feeling of unconditional love, acceptance and camaraderie. We run together, laugh together and make change together and that's what makes every day with Back on My Feet worthwhile." Liz graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development & Family Studies.
Member Services Coordinator
Johnny Fikru serves as the Member Services Coordinator. As a strong believer in exercise as a form of therapy, Johnny has a passion for running. Prior to Back on My Feet, Johnny has had experience with community building and advocacy work. Johnny hopes to bring his positivity and compassion to the BoMF community. Johnny has a B.A in Political Science from Seattle University. “I fundamentally believe that running is good for the soul. The determination and perseverance running brings is incredible for both mind and body. Additionally, there is nothing more inspiring than watching people succeed their goals.”
